2008 RACE NIGHT..
The Piarsaigh na Dromoda club are holding a race night next Friday night, the 14th March in the Waterville Inn at 9pm. This is part of our continuing fundraising to improves the facilities at Pairc an Phiarsaigh. Everybody's support on the night would be very welcome
Scor na bPaisti
The Piarsaigh na Dromoda club was well represented in the semi finals of Scor na bPaisti held in Keel last Friday night. They represented South Kerry in the Ballad group, Solo Singing, Recitation and drama. The drama group were successful in qualifying for the finals in Killarney on Sunday 30th March. The Piarsaigh na Dromoda club wish Niall O'Se the best of luck as he lines out at corner forward for the Kerry Minor Team tonight (Wednesday) against Clare in Ennis.
Also congrats to Aidan Shine O'Sullivan, who helped the Kerry U21's capture the Cadburys Munster U21 FC with a one-point victory over Tipperary last Saturday evening.

CO SFL DIV 3 RD 3 - Piarsaigh na Dromoda 1-12 Reenard 0-13 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxccccccccccc Well done to the Senior Team who recorded their first win in this years League. It was score for score until the 20th minute when Dromid had a purple patch before half time. Thomas Curran got Dromid's all-important goal midway through the 2nd half after a long free kick by Kevin O'Leary. "PRIDE OF THE PARISH"
The final two shows in the very successful Pride of the Parish run was held in Valentia ON Sunday Night, 30TH March. It was a great night's entertainment and the organisers were delighted with the time and effort spent putting on these shows in aid of the Cunamh Iveragh Residential Project. There was great credit due to Emir Muphy and team for putting together a great show and representing the parish of Dromid so well.

A young U14 Piarsaigh na Dromoda team started their South Kerry League last Monday evening, but unfortunately they were well defeated by Sneem/Derrynane. Final score Piarsaigh na Dromoda 2-02 Sneem/Derrynane 4-22.

Hard luck to Declan O'Sullivan and his Kerry team mates who lost out in the NFL Final last Sunday in Parnell Park against a pumped up Derry side.
Best of luck to Aidan Shine O'Sullivan who will line out at wing back for the Kerry U21 Team in the All Ireland U21 FC V Kildare, down to be played in Thurles next Saturday.

Race Night : Piarsaigh na Dromoda are holding a Race Night in the Waterville Inn on Friday 14th March. This is a very important fundraiser for our upcoming development and we are looking for as much support as possible.
Also, we are all looking forward Piarsaigh na Dromoda's Annual Dinner Dance in the Waterville Lake Hotel on Friday 4th April next. Tickets will be available from committee members shortly.
